About The Founder

​As the CEO of Uniqueness N U Enterprises, Dr. Yolanda Sherman has inspired countless individuals to embrace both spiritual and personal transformation, empowering them to live more fulfilling, limitless lives. A Professional Life Coach and licensed Christian Counselor, she is board certified by the National Association of Christian Counselors and an ordained, licensed minister. Dr. Sherman holds a PhD in Christian Education, along with doctoral and master’s degrees in Christian Counseling from Juliana King University, an affiliate of the University of Family Bible Institute College and Seminary. She also earned her bachelor's in Christian Counseling in 2012 from International Kingdom Christian Counseling and Bible Seminary and is a graduate of Grace Bible Institute.
Drawing from her experiences as a wife, mother of two sons, community leader, and entrepreneur, Dr. Sherman has a special ability to connect with people from all walks of life—women, men, and youth alike.
Through her endeavors with Uniqueness NU Broadcasting Network, Uniqueness N U Apparel, and Uniqueness N U Learning Academy, she has paved a path of success, achievement, and faith-based empowerment, equipping others to achieve their full potential. At Uniqueness N U Learning Academy, Dr. Sherman provides individuals with the tools necessary to foster personal transformation, while helping them develop lasting relationships, self-esteem, and self-worth.

Dr. Sherman is a dedicated mentor to women, youth, and families, both in ministry and on the streets, helping them unlock their leadership potential through guidance and encouragement. Her mission is to equip and empower individuals to reach their fullest capacity in life. She serves as an Inspirational and Prayer Leader in The Women of Valour Network, under the leadership of Dr. Allison Wiley.
Dr. Sherman is also the host of her own TV show, "Break Free TV," airing Sundays at 7:30 p.m. on the Forever Rhema Word TV network. She additionally hosts "The Breaking the Chains" radio broadcast every Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. on Forever Rhema Gospel Radio. Her "Unmuzzled with Purpose with Dr. Yo" podcast airs on Anchor, and she hosts the Unmuzzled with Purpose Mentorship Banquet annually.
A multi-talented gospel recording artist, Dr. Sherman released her debut single, "Lord, I Love You," in 2017. She is also a published author, with her first book, No More Chains (2012), followed by Behind the Mask: The Struggle to Balance Personal and Ministry Life in 2016, and her Fit for the Kingdom: Inspirational Journal in 2020. Dr. Sherman is also a contributing writer for Women on the Frontline Magazine.
